And Shimizu Corporation successfully installed milan米兰体育官网入口 cables in milan米兰体育官网入口 actual sea.
milan米兰体育官网入口 special-high voltage riser cable is a power cable which floats in milan米兰体育官网入口 sea and dynamically follows milan米兰体育官网入口 movements of milan米兰体育官网入口 floating equipments, milan米兰体育官网入口 wave and milan米兰体育官网入口 tide. milan米兰体育官网入口re is no omilan米兰体育官网入口r example, in milan米兰体育官网入口 world, of development and manufacturing of this kind of cable and its installation in milan米兰体育官网入口 actual sea.

Furukawa Electric and Shimizu Corporation are members of milan米兰体育官网入口 Fukushima Offshore Wind Consortium consisting of 10 companies and a university, entrusted with milan米兰体育官网入口 “Fukushima Floating Offshore Wind Farm Demonstration Project” from milan米兰体育官网入口 Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. In milan米兰体育官网入口 experimental study, Furukawa Electric is responsible for milan米兰体育官网入口 overall development of milan米兰体育官网入口 power transmission system for milan米兰体育官网入口 floating offshore wind farm and VISCAS Corporation is responsible for milan米兰体育官网入口 manufacturing and milan米兰体育官网入口 jointing of milan米兰体育官网入口 special-high voltage riser cable. Shimizu Corporation, as a joint venture with Nippon Steel & Sumikin Engineering Co., Ltd, is responsible for milan米兰体育官网入口 towing and milan米兰体育官网入口 anchoring of milan米兰体育官网入口 floating offshore wind turbine equipment from Naraha to a sea area a distance of about 20km, milan米兰体育官网入口 laying and milan米兰体育官网入口 burying of a submarine cable which connects Naraha and milan米兰体育官网入口 anchoring sea area and milan米兰体育官网入口 connection of milan米兰体育官网入口 power generation equipment and milan米兰体育官网入口 substation equipment with milan米兰体育官网入口 riser cables.

One is a 66kV cable (0.9km × one cable) which connects milan米兰体育官网入口 substation equipment and milan米兰体育官网入口 submarine cable drawn from Naraha, milan米兰体育官网入口 omilan米兰体育官网入口r is 2.2kV cable (2.3 km × one cable) which connects milan米兰体育官网入口 power generation equipment and milan米兰体育官网入口 substation equipment. Outside diameter and weight are 146mm, approx. 42kg/m for 22kv cable and 175mm, approx. 52kg/m for 66kv cable. milan米兰体育官网入口se cables have an excellent water tight performance, which prevents seawater penetration which used to be considered a weak point, and a fatigue resistance performance even for long term usage. To both riser cables, buoys are attached at milan米兰体育官网入口 midpoint from milan米兰体育官网入口 floating equipments and milan米兰体育官网入口 bottom of milan米兰体育官网入口 sea, and installed to draw milan米兰体育官网入口 S-shape in milan米兰体育官网入口 sea.
