Abstract

The authors have clarified the cause milan米兰体育官网 the temperature dependence in athermal Arrayed Waveguide Grating (AWG) modules milan米兰体育官网 conventional type, and have developed a new athermal AWG module milan米兰体育官网 wide operating temperature range having a reduced temperature dependence. The temperature dependence milan米兰体育官网 the center wavelength milan米兰体育官网 the developed module is not more than ±0.015 nm for all channels over a temperature range milan米兰体育官网 -30~70°C. A series milan米兰体育官网 reliability tests have been carried out assuming outdoor installation milan米兰体育官网 the module, and it has been confirmed that the module has extremely high reliability.
