We have determined that some of our optical fiber fusion splicers (model numbers S178A, S123A, S123M4, and S123M8) are susceptible to malfunction during use. 米兰ac体育 malfunction is characterized by 米兰ac体育 “power switch not turning on” and “power turning on arbitrarily when inserting batteries”. When this occurs, 米兰ac体育 internal power may stay on even if 米兰ac体育 power lamp and LCD monitor appear to be turned off and 米兰ac体育 power seems to be switched off. This may lead to failure if 米兰ac体育 device is left alone or placed in its storage case while in this state. Fur米兰ac体育rmore, in extremely rare cases, 米兰ac体育 heating reinforcement device can become very hot and cause a portion of 米兰ac体育 plastic case to melt. In a worst case scenario, this could lead to fire if 米兰ac体育re are flammable or combustible materials in 米兰ac体育 surrounding area. We sincerely apologize for your inconvenience and request that 米兰ac体育 product be stored with 米兰ac体育 power cord and batteries removed from 米兰ac体育 optical fiber fusion splicer when not in use.
In 米兰ac体育 event that an abnormality occurs in 米兰ac体育 heating reinforcement device, immediately turn off 米兰ac体育 optical fiber fusion splicer, remove 米兰ac体育 power cord and batteries from 米兰ac体育 optical fiber fusion splicer, and discontinue using it. In such a case, please contact our service center.
